January Mukes Pictures

The following are some pictures from the month of January:

Happy little Emmy is ready to get a good night of sleep =)

These sisters love each other so much!

How cute can you be?

We dealt with a lot of sickness during the month of January and February. Here the girls are resting while watching a video together. Both are finding great comfort in each other and their fingers. Even though they didn't feel well, I thought they looked really cute together and I had to take a picture =)

While Emily was napping, Mom and Elizabeth built a really cool castle together!

Lizzy has been helping mom in the kitchen more. This time we made meatloaf together. Elizabeth follows directions very well and is a great cooking partner. Oh, how I love my girls. Both of them are so much fun! Thank you God!

More fun at bedtime!

Emily loves to play peek-a-boo from her crib. It is a game we all look forward to bedtime.

Lizzy helps Emily play firefighter while getting ready for church. What a cute combo . . . pretty dresses with fireman hats =)

Lizzy helps Emily make so adjustments =)

Emily decides to help too =)

Time to switch =)
Hope everyone is well =)
Love, The Mukes

Romantic La Costa Get Away

Mid January, Eric and I were able to have a two day, one night get-away. It was Eric's Christmas gift to "us" to have an amazing spa treatment with overnight stay at the La Costa Resort and Inn in Carlsbad. Our trip could not have been any better. The weather was beautiful, the treatments amazing, the food outstanding and our time together so very sweet. It was a tremendous blessing for Eric and I to have this special time together. Thank you Lord!

Elizabeth and Emily also had a fabulous time hanging out with Auntie Erica and Uncle Colin. They treated our girls to a very special weekend and we are very thankful for their love and time. Thank you Auntie and Uncle!

Snuggled together in our amazing hotel room =)

The view from our patio!

Enjoying the beautiful morning with some coffee, a banana and my awesome Piper book, Desiring God.

Sweet hearts!
I wish we would have taken more pictures, but we were to busy relaxing and enjoying each other =)

And More Christmas

Below are some pictures of our wonderful Christmas celebration with Auntie Erica and Uncle Colin. We drove to their house in Temecula Christmas Eve. It was a long, long drive (5 1/2 hours with traffic) but we made the best of the drive by enjoying some close family time in the car. Eric and I had been so busy during the previous weeks that the long drive gave us a chance to "catch-up"

When we arrived, Autie and Uncle had a wonderful dinner waiting for us =) It tasted amazing! Yummy pot roast, bread and sweet potato pie. How delicious! We had a wonderful time with them and we thank God for all of our family!

Look at that spread!

Auntie Erica is such a lovely hostess! Her and Uncle Colin have wonderful servant's hearts and always make us feel so welcome. Thank you Auntie and Uncle!! We love you!

Mom and her little Emmy girl =)

Time for more gifts!

It was so cozy in Auntie and Uncle's house. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the fire was so warm and inviting.

And More Christmas

Here are some Christmas pictures from our early Christmas celebration with Grandma Ro and Papa Bob. We had lots of fun once again!

Fun toys for Emily too!

More Christmas

I still have more Christmas pictures to post . . . better late than never. These were taken for our "before Christmas" Christmas celebration with Nana. We had lots of fun.

Nana bought the girls cute reindeer antler headbands. How cute are they!?

Lizzy is excited to open her presents!

Here we go!

Emmy was very excited too =)

What a beautiful outfit Lizzy got! She loves it!

Emily was very disappointed when we wouldn't let her chew on all the wrapping paper and boxes.

Nana definitely liked her gift!

Silly!
