Mukes Winter Snow Vacation

The Mukes went on their first family trip since the birth of Emily. We had a wonderful time up in the snowy mountains of Big Bear, California. The Lord blessed our timing perfectly! We came up the mountain just after storms had left ample amounts of snow. The weather was sunny and beautiful the whole time we were there. What a blessing!

We took Auntie Melody and Cousin Abigail along with us. We were able to trade off watching the children while others got to ski/snowboard. Nana and Papa met us up there one day and we were able to ski and spend time with them as well. The kids had a great time hanging out in the beautiful condo and venturing out in the snow. Lizzy got to go inner-tubing with mom and had a great time.

We stayed in a beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, fully equipped condo right at the base of snow summit (walking distance for the skiers/snowboarders). It was fabulous! Thank you Lord!

On our last day in Big Bear we took Lizzy to "Snow Play" were she was able to try inner-tubing for the first time. She was very brave and had a blast!

They had an escalator type machine that takes you up the hill for your runs. That definitely made things easier and made it so we could do a lot more sledding =)
